Kodi - My View


The whole story is set on political premise and it is all about who reaches the power and how they reach it. We have seen quite some movies set in this premise and some are cult classics. This is where the director acts smart by adding the rivalry between lovers from opposite parties and to make things more interesting the twins concept.

The director has chosen the cast correctly but as missed to extract the performance from one of the main leads. Dhanush as the honest and rough Kodi and as smart and timid brother twin has rocked his role and have done to perfection. Either look-wise or mannerism he shows the difference and does complete justice to the role. In fact, he is one of the core strength for the movie. Trisha has done a decent job as a power hungry politician and lover. This is one strong role and a dream role to any. An actress of her level with her experience should have rocked the role and made hers like Ramya Krishnan did Nilambari or Jyotika in Pacha Killi Mutusaram. But Trisha has settled for a decent performance than a strong one. Directors fault or hers no idea but that turns out as one of the disappointing factors towards the movie end. Many areas Trisha makeup were on and off and was showing her way old. The premam girl fits her role perfectly and does a good job. The romance between her and Dhanush works on many levels and looks pleasing. Songs are a big plus for the movie and almost all enter our playlist. Saranya is the person to look for when it comes to mother role and I believe she is doing it for the nth time. Still, she does it to perfection and makes us feel home.

The director should be lauded for the nice packaging which is good and engaging for 80% of the movie. Only a few songs are seen in the movie and all help only in the upside of the movie. Santhosh Narayanan has done a great job and Kodi BGM is simply pulsating.

The first half is super engaging and fast and the second half till Trisha Kodi meet-up goes well. However, after that, the movie looks bit dragging and doesn't look like a complete finish in the end. The satisfaction we get in 80% of the movie is lost due to the end 20%. Because of this, a movie which should have come out as a strong and good political entertainer turned out to be a decent one.
Many directors and heroes set mass scenes but some work and many don't. The mass scene in this movie is Dhanush welcoming MP Trisha and the Dhanush entrance is one goosebump Mass scene. After Bahubali's mass scene this is the one which I enjoyed very much. Bearded Dhanush just dons the role and looks tailor mode. His physique is a bit low factor for the heroism he shows but through his strong and excellent performance, he makes us forget those factors and enjoy it.

A political thriller which should have ended up way better than this still far better than many of the others movies in recent times. Due to the neat and smart packaging by the director with some good music to support and packed with power performance by Dhanush this is a movie which deserves a watch

Would not bore us and will surely keep us entertained but will make us feel to have more and missing something in the end.

Vikram Vedha is a movie which shouldn't be missed. I don't remember how many times I have started a movie with such positive quote but I am I am happy this one start on the good note. Not only my view but the movie too starts out on the good positive note. The directors clearly make the audience to prepare for the movie from the movie title to the title cards. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - My View

Movie is about the experience which makes us travel into a different world. We often dream and we never think about any logic or look for flaws in it. We travel and experience the dream. It is the experience that's what matters. This movie gives that experience. Bahubali has its flaws but the experience it offers makes us go over it and cherish the movie. The experience we live in is on a different scale where you applause for many scenes and when the movie ends you can't stop from giving a good applause to it. And when you realise it's not only you who is applauding but many others along with you then you are all together in a different kind of feel. The feel you are not alone. If the first part was about son the second part is about dad. This part says who Bahubali was and how he lost his powers and does his son gets to the power or not. The performance from the actors is simply superb. Even the word superb doesn't justify for all their effor...

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (My View)

More than the live adaptation movies, I personally love the animated version of DC movies. Always felt the animations are more faithful to the comics than the movies. In recent times, the animations were only of an average level when compared to the goodness it offered in the past. Looks like DC animations have found their way back with this movie. The plot focuses about the new Titan Terra trying to get a foot inside the team and at the same time, we see Starfire and Nightwing going towards relationship level. On another hand, we see two villains Deathstroke and Brother Blood setting a plan in motion to defeat and capture Teen Titans. The rest of the story is whether the villains become successful and why they want to capture the Titans and is Terra able to become a part of Titans family.  As said at the start of this article, after a long time DC animation team has given a perfect movie to us. All characters get a chance to showcase their presence in the story...
