Pichaikaran (2016) - My View

Time is not under our control. We can plan to carry out things within a certain time but we can never be sure if we can do it as decided and the simple reason behind is time is not under our control. Things are bound to happen when it is time and when it is we won't even be able to so anything on it apart from being on the flow of the events during the time.

One might wonder why I am talking about time and what it has to do with the movie. There are two behind this. One is personal which is after n number of attempts to watch the movie only now the time had come to see it. The other is related to the movie. In a way, the movie is set on time and at the point of time, the events that take place and the decisions followed by is what the whole movie is about.

Before going inside the movie let me say a few thoughts on the title. After watching the movie, I am still wondering if any other title could replace the current one, However, can't find a better title for the movie than what it has. The team should be lauded for choosing such a truthful title for the movie which makes justice in all senses. I am a bit old school when it comes to title either book, comics or movies; I am always in search to find how the title is correlating with the movie. In recent cases, I feel this is one fo the best titles a movie has had.

The main plot is a rich son's mother gets injured and a saint advises him to lead the life of a beggar for 48 days to save his mother. The rest of the story is about whether the on was able to lead that life, did his mother recover is the main crux of the story. However, it doesn't end there. During this life of a beggar the love life, life of beggars and how society treats people with money and ones who doesn't have it, medical mafia, jealous and cunning relatives and tussle with goons. All these sub-stories are also seen along with the main stories but nothing stands out as disturbing. They flow along with the main story and never make us feel different or boring, The real success of the director is on the neat packaging of the movie by weaving the sub-stories beautifully along with the main stories and ensured to give a complete entertainer.

Vijay Anthony chooses script based on what he could do and has delivered perfectly on this role. On emotions area, his performance doesn't look convincing but on the whole, his performance has improved by many levels and the director has got what the actor is good at. He has played his role to the convention. As a music director, he has done full justice tot he movie either the songs are background both are top notch. The mother song will surely melt your heart and all the others are good in their ways without disturbing the movie's pace. Nenjorathl is a romantic stellar and will stay in my playlist for years to come. The heroine looks very convincing. She has acted beautifully in her given scenes and looks like a familiar face with beauty. looking forward to seeing her in more movies.

The dialogue writer for the movie should be lauded greatly. There are many hard hitting scenes as well as clapping ones. The real success of the movie is the dialogues. They are, witty, sharp, strong and thought provoking. Can write a whole new article on the dialogues that's how good and beautiful they are. Th action scenes are mass but don't make us feel we are seeing something artificial. Tot hat level the stunt choreography is convincing and Vijay Anthony pulls those scenes to perfectly.

Certain movies entertain but then there are others which linger with us even after the movie is over. Runs in our mind making us wonder this scene depicted this and that. All movies don't achieve it. But Pichaikaran does it. In recent times a movie which I have enjoyed from start to end including the songs and not only entertained but also lingered means it is PICHAIKARAN.

Pichaikaran will not only entertain you but will linger in you and make you see things differently around you. All these are delivered to us not in a preachy way but more as a movie experience. A must watch movie

Vikram Vedha - My View

Vikram Vedha is a movie which shouldn't be missed. I don't remember how many times I have started a movie with such positive quote but I am I am happy this one start on the good note. Not only my view but the movie too starts out on the good positive note. The directors clearly make the audience to prepare for the movie from the movie title to the title cards. The plot of the story is Vedha who is a gangster presents puzzles to Vikram the police officer. How Vikram solves the puzzles and what it leads to is the rest of the story. My friend Sathish always use to say this (a director) half of the movie is done when the casting is done, The movies perfection and satisfying performance is due to the perfect casting, Right from the leads to the support characters all are cast perfectly and all have delivered a commanding performance. The sharp dialogues, BGM and excellent shots all through the movie are a huge plus for the movie. The first half was super fast and you ...

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - My View

Movie is about the experience which makes us travel into a different world. We often dream and we never think about any logic or look for flaws in it. We travel and experience the dream. It is the experience that's what matters. This movie gives that experience. Bahubali has its flaws but the experience it offers makes us go over it and cherish the movie. The experience we live in is on a different scale where you applause for many scenes and when the movie ends you can't stop from giving a good applause to it. And when you realise it's not only you who is applauding but many others along with you then you are all together in a different kind of feel. The feel you are not alone. If the first part was about son the second part is about dad. This part says who Bahubali was and how he lost his powers and does his son gets to the power or not. The performance from the actors is simply superb. Even the word superb doesn't justify for all their effor...

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (My View)

More than the live adaptation movies, I personally love the animated version of DC movies. Always felt the animations are more faithful to the comics than the movies. In recent times, the animations were only of an average level when compared to the goodness it offered in the past. Looks like DC animations have found their way back with this movie. The plot focuses about the new Titan Terra trying to get a foot inside the team and at the same time, we see Starfire and Nightwing going towards relationship level. On another hand, we see two villains Deathstroke and Brother Blood setting a plan in motion to defeat and capture Teen Titans. The rest of the story is whether the villains become successful and why they want to capture the Titans and is Terra able to become a part of Titans family.  As said at the start of this article, after a long time DC animation team has given a perfect movie to us. All characters get a chance to showcase their presence in the story...
