Stranger Things (Season 1) - My View


To till date, I have recommended 3 series to everyone I come across. They are Sherlock Holmes, Black Mirror and Game of Thrones. Now going forward it will be four and the one to join is "Stranger Things"

As the title of the series, the plot is about strange things happening in a small town. The series covers disappearance of few people, predator monster, a girl with super power, secret government organisation and investigative kids. The strange things don't end there if you can just step a bit in detail strange relationships among different people and the strange characters of people are touched.

The core plot is about a kid going missing and his friends try to find him where they come across a strange monster and girl. Do they succeed in finding their friend and what these strange things are, is the rest of the plot.


The story starts a bit slow but once the monster comes in then it never turns back with the engagement or the pace. The series is rightly paced with seat edge moments and racing pace during the chase and slowness when establishing emotional moments. The kids are a scream and their acting is top class. They are fun, playful don't care about moments they are in, error some and think they know better than the adults exactly like kids should be. The person who played as Will's mum has done her role so perfect that you can feel the pain of the character in you.

The story majorly focuses on friendship, trust, forgiveness, guilt, sacrifice and commitment. The series focuses on a lot of positives and the way they are established throughout deserves lot of kudos. The BG throughout the series should be lauded as it is one of the key reasons for the success of the series. It sets the right mood for us and ensures we are not distracted by unnecessary scores. However, the part which should really be noted is the premise of the story. It is set in the 80s and through the series, the mood of 80s is well established. The cinematographer should be appreciated for bringing the 80s and for giving engaging shots. The scenes where the girl enters the upside down and the black areas that cover and follow through are simply magic. The van flip is one of the best scenes I have scene is my life.


 Netflix deserves praise for giving us an awesome series like this. They are doing right by picking interesting stories and ensure they come out in the right way. Netflix. The series was so good that I completed them in 3 days.

This series has a lot of positives for the kids to look at and a good engaging supernatural investigative thriller for the adults. One can feel a Steven Spielberg feel throughout the series and for that one reason this series is a MUST watch and the Duffer Brothers should be celebrated for bringing that feel with an engaging note.

Vikram Vedha is a movie which shouldn't be missed. I don't remember how many times I have started a movie with such positive quote but I am I am happy this one start on the good note. Not only my view but the movie too starts out on the good positive note. The directors clearly make the audience to prepare for the movie from the movie title to the title cards. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - My View

Movie is about the experience which makes us travel into a different world. We often dream and we never think about any logic or look for flaws in it. We travel and experience the dream. It is the experience that's what matters. This movie gives that experience. Bahubali has its flaws but the experience it offers makes us go over it and cherish the movie. The experience we live in is on a different scale where you applause for many scenes and when the movie ends you can't stop from giving a good applause to it. And when you realise it's not only you who is applauding but many others along with you then you are all together in a different kind of feel. The feel you are not alone. If the first part was about son the second part is about dad. This part says who Bahubali was and how he lost his powers and does his son gets to the power or not. The performance from the actors is simply superb. Even the word superb doesn't justify for all their effor...

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (My View)

More than the live adaptation movies, I personally love the animated version of DC movies. Always felt the animations are more faithful to the comics than the movies. In recent times, the animations were only of an average level when compared to the goodness it offered in the past. Looks like DC animations have found their way back with this movie. The plot focuses about the new Titan Terra trying to get a foot inside the team and at the same time, we see Starfire and Nightwing going towards relationship level. On another hand, we see two villains Deathstroke and Brother Blood setting a plan in motion to defeat and capture Teen Titans. The rest of the story is whether the villains become successful and why they want to capture the Titans and is Terra able to become a part of Titans family.  As said at the start of this article, after a long time DC animation team has given a perfect movie to us. All characters get a chance to showcase their presence in the story...
